Wenn Trump es wirklich schaffen sollte eine dritte Amtszeit durchzuprügeln, wird es mMn keine Möglichkeit auf freie Wahlen mehr geben.

Für mich fast das Schlimmste ist die nach wie vor schwache Gegenwehr, sowohl von den Dems, als auch von der Zivilgesellschaft. Es gibt zwar inzwischen Demonstrationen, aber meistens nur von kleineren Gruppen.

The survey, released by Axios and Generation Lab, found that 53 percent of adults under 35 say they strongly disapprove of DOGE’s actions to reshape the federal government.
Eighteen percent say they somewhat disapprove, while 28 percent say they either strongly or somewhat approve of the work.
As of Feb. 14, DOGE’s efforts to cut the federal workforce have resulted in the firing of hundreds of thousands of staffers. The exact number is unknown as uncertainty remains about the buyout plan offered, probationary worker statuses and people who may eventually be hired back by the government.
DOGE has come under criticism for the staff cuts, as well as for gaining access to sensitive information at various agencies and departments, including at the Treasury Department and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Young respondents are split on how much they know about DOGE — 43 percent say they know a lot about what the team is doing, and 44 percent say they only know a little.
