Nochmal eine Frage zu dem Autopiloten.
Im JACC Bericht vom Juni/August 2014 steht, dass die Voreinstellung LNAV ist:
The standard autopilot mode for en-route lateral navigation is LNAV, where the aircraft tracks directly between waypoints along a great circle route and the aircraft heading will be automatically adjusted to allow for the wind (sensed by the inertial reference unit).
In-flight, the flight-planned route can be changed by the crew selecting a different lateral navigation mode or maintaining LNAV and changing the route entered in the FMS. Other lateral navigation modes include:
-heading hold (either a true or magnetic heading can be selected)
-track hold (either a true or magnetic heading can be selected)
With these modes the track or heading is manually selected on the mode control panel on the glare-shield. True or normal reference is selected by the crew using a switch located on the Captain’s inboard display panel. Normal reference is the usual setting which references magnetic North, unless the aircraft is operating at high latitudes, in which case the reference will change to true North. True North reference can be manually selected by the crew using the switch.Dieses LNAV ist satelliengestützt?
Wikipedia: LNAV"an LNAV approach (one that uses lateral navigation) is implied to be a GPS-based approach"
Oder meint hier "approach" nur Landeanflug?
Und was sind dann die weiteren Unterschiede zwischen heading hold/track hold und true und magnetic heading?
heading hold/track hold scheint einigermaßen Klar. Derzeitige Richtung beibehalten bzw. derzeitigen Kurs beibehalten. Aber was genau ist der Unterschied?
In der FI, Appendix 1.6E, S. 2 wird das etwas genauer erklärt:
Pushing the LNAV switch arms, selects or disarms the LNAV mode. The commands
come from the active Flight Management Computing Function (FMCF) when there is a
valid navigation data base and an active flight plan. The Control Display Units (CDUs)
can send LNAV steering commands when there is no active FMCF.Also, LNAV ist der Modus, wenn ein Flugpan existiert? Satellitenverbindung ist aber nicht notwendig?
Und was passiert, wenn der Endpunkt eines Flugplans erreicht wurde, aber keine Landung erfolgte?
