Das wird direkt auf München '58 bezogen? Krasse Sache, dachte das wäre eine allgemeingehaltene Verhöhnung bzw. Beleidigung.

Die Hillsborough-Sache ist auch ekelerregend hoch zehn.

Ich hab früher auch immer gegen Kaiserslautern gestänkert und denen böse Namen gegeben.. aber seit ich von Ecto (wie heißt er korrekt im Allmy?) weiß, dass er Kaiserslauternfan ist, unterlasse ich die Beleidigungen in der Regel auch.

Ich würde keinen verletzen wollen..

Ich werde wohl mal noch Hillsborough googlen müssen.

aber was ist dein Problem an Schalke Mantrailer ? bei dir wäre Gladbach als Verein sehr ähnlich wie bvb mit CL

Ich mag Schalke überhaupt nicht, aus verschiedenen Gründen.

Ich mag ihre Spielweise nicht, ich mag ihre Historie nicht, ich mag ihre Protagonisten nicht (von Stevens über Papadopulous bis Jones und Farfan), ich mag ihre Fans nicht (ich erinnere an die Anti-Neuer-Aktionen) - ich mag sie einfach nicht.

Und da ich kein Patriot bin, muss ich auch einem deutschen Verein, den ich nicht mag, international keine Daumen drücken, nur weil sie aus Deutschland sind.

Mit der Fünfjahreswertung zu argumentieren, läuft in diesem Fall ebenfalls ins Leere. Nicht nur, dass Bayern die absolut meisten Punkte hier beisteuert; wir waren in den letzten Jahren genau einmal schlechter als Platz 3, nämlich auf Platz 4, und müssen uns daher diesbezüglich keine Sorgen machen.

vieles wird aber auch von den medien aufgewaermt bis zum abwinken, ist doch klar, dass da die emotionen hochkochen :(

Jones mag ich aber auch nicht :D
Favre tut mir leid denn finde ich richtig unsympathisch, die Art ne geht nicht.
Und die Fans? Dann hast du keine Ahnung denn die gegen Neuer sind die wenigsten gewesen das wurde nur durch den Medien so behauptet das es alle waren. Mich stört das nicht das Neuer bei Bayern ist. Wie würde Gladbach reagieren wen Ter stegen nach Köln gehen würde? Bestimmt schlechter wie Blaue Fans.

Schalke hat auch dazu beigetragen was du da sagst stimmt nicht.

Germany war immer vierter.

oh man hier haben ja nicht viele ahnung von fußball,wenn ich schon höre ajax spielt besser als manchester wohl viel wunschdenken und mit vereinsbrille wird hier über fussball diskutiert.aber egal hab ich wenigstens was zu lachen :-))))))

Na, eben durch den Begriff "Manure". Dieser bezieht sich ja direkt und zweifelsfrei auf die Opfer von München '58!!

@Maintrailer: der begriff 'manure' ist eine verbalhornung von 'man u', das hat nichts mit der tragoedie von 1958 zu tun

ein letzter nachtrag zur herkunft des namens 'manure': ich habe mich bei drei manchester united fans umgehoert. zwei von ihnen meinten, diese bezeichnung haette nichts mit munich '58 zu tun (es waere allenfalls eine fiese abwandlung des vereinsnamens), der dritte meinte, die aus 'looserpool seien in diesem falle unschuldig', weil es entweder aus der feder von west ham oder (viel wahrscheinlicher) leeds united fans kam.

der juengste von ihnen ist mitte 40, die anderen beiden zwischen mitte und ende 50, also wuerde ich sie mal als 'alte hasen' bezeichnen, was die geschichte ihres clubs angeht.

von daher: nicht alles, was bei wikipedia steht, muss automatisch stimmen ;)

3. if anyone still doesnt understand the "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans. it wasnt just chants it was also popular to write this as graffiti as far as i know this insult dates back to the early 60,s and it wasnt ´pool fans.

There was huge competition between clubs to sign duncan edwards when he was a schoolboy in the early 50s and there was even a newspaper campaign in the midlands to pressure him into signing for a midlands club, as he came from dudley. his signing for united caused a lot of people in the midlands to regard him as a traitor and he was painted as such by local rags and was a bit of a hate figure for some idiots.

as far as i know it was west brom fans who first sang (and sorry for posting this).

The origin of man u is a song to insult the dead duncan edwards.

The ´pool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you, versions like rathcoole and edward say to insult all of the lads who died at munich i hope that makes it a bit clearer that saying man u is a mortal insult, particularly to the older supporters and is fighting talk tbh. a lot of rival fans got a good kicking for the man u insult and to see so-called united fans using it now is shamefull .

But that's how the man u started off But times were so different Around the same time Dad and me were at Anfield and a group of yobs were dragged out of the Kop by the police and were met with a barrage of pennies, the police didn't shield them either as they dragged them right round to the tunnel. Funny though it never really caught on at Goodison It did a bit later on but it was never seriously taken up like on other grounds. I never remember hearing fans from Spurs and oddly enough Chelsea sing Munich songs either And if anyone ever tried it at Highbury they would have been killed For many years older Arsenal fans looked upon the Babes as their own property because they had seen their last match in England they sort of "owned" a part of United.

Another place were you never mentioned Munich or 'man u" Even if you were a United fan was Millwall We played them when we were in the second division All police leave was cancelled and the Football League had even tried to stop us getting a ticket allocation for the Den The kick off was put forward to 11 am to try and stop us all going down there It was billed as the fight of the century.

Not one single punch was thrown inside the ground There was even a picture in the Sunday Mirror of two United fans with "Harry the Dog" What did happen was after the match a combined force of 20,000 plus United and Millwall fans descended on the Kings Rd and smashed the place up, including the football ground and the fans inside that just happened to be in the area.

But a lot of the violence that happened with United fans around that time was usually spraked by the words "man u' Not all the violence but the serious stuff that involved the ordinary fans and not the skinheads did.

Look I ran with the Red Army, usually the trouble was mainly wanton vandalism and just running battles It wasn't as bad as it was made out to be most of the time I know it sounds awful but there would only be a few dozen serious injuries I was part of them for 8 years and only once ever got involved in a fight But once you read in the papers that there had been a high number of people taken to hospital then you knew some prat had mentioned 'man u' or Munich.
