Peace Treaty Offered to Angry Fans



The people behind the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert want to make peace with the fans who have sworn to boycott the event ... by inviting them all to join in on a conference call to air out their grievances.

TMZ spoke to a rep for the concert who says they're inviting the leaders of several prominent fan groups to join them Wednesday for "an informative call to address some of the misinformation about the upcoming Michael Forever tribute."

For those unfamiliar, a TON of MJ fan groups banded together in anger -- after Jermaine and Randy Jackson claimed it would be "inappropriate" to support a concert "during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death."

We're told event organizers are hoping the call with put "rumors and incorrect information to rest."

Reps for the concert confirmed -- Beyonce is still slated to sing via satellite -- saying the "pregnancy will not affect her performance".

Beyonce is rumored to be nearing the 4 month mark in her pregnancy -- and if the rumors are true, she'll be a solid 5 months preggo when she performs her favorite Jackson 5 song for the concert.

Fun Preggo Fact: According to WebMD, women who were physically active before pregnancy should be good to continue with moderate exercise for the duration of the pregnancy ... as long as any potential "abdominal trauma" is avoided.

Pop. Tribute-Konzerte für Michael Jackson stehen unter keinem guten Stern. Der jüngste Versuch wird von Teilen der Familie und Fans boykottiert. Von Teresa Schaur-Wünsch

Mutter Katherine hatte es sich so schön vorgestellt. Ende Juli war sie in Beverly Hills gemeinsam mit ihren Kindern LaToya, Marlon, Tito und Jackie vor die Presse getreten und hatte die Pläne für ein Tribute-Konzert für Michael vorgestellt. Die Show sei „eines Königs“ würdig, ihr verstorbener Sohn würde das Konzert bestimmt schätzen. Es werde „spektakulär“, versicherte Tochter LaToya den Reportern.

Einen gewissen Schönheitsfehler hatten die Pläne freilich bereits da: Künstler wurden nämlich keine bekannt gegeben. Mutig, wenn man bedenkt, dass geplante und geplatzte Jackson-Tributes bereits eine gewisse Tradition haben. Man erinnert sich: Vor zwei Jahren, im September 2009, hatte Michael Jacksons Bruder Jermaine eines in Wien vor dem Schloss Schönbrunn auf die Beine stellen wollen. Unter den angekündigten Künstlern fehlten die Superstars, Jermaine empörte sich, man wolle sein Projekt schlechtreden, am Ende wurde es abgesagt. Auch das Ersatzkonzert in London zerschlug sich.

Jermaine Jackson findet sich nun wiederum unter jenen, die das für den 8.Oktober im walisischen Cardiff geplante „Michael Forever“-Konzert boykottieren. Es sei der falsche Zeitpunkt für ein derartiges Tribute, erklärte er gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Randy: Am 27.September beginnt der Prozess gegen den ehemaligen Arzt des Popstars, der für seinen laut Anklage fahrlässig verursachten Tod verantwortlich gemacht wird. Es wird erwartet, dass der Prozess vier bis sechs Wochen dauern und für viel Aufsehen sorgen wird. Gerade erst musste die Verteidigung einen Rückschlag hinnehmen: Das Gericht in Los Angeles hat sechs von Jacksons Ärzten als Zeugen abgelehnt, die die Medikamentensucht des Popstars bestätigen sollten.


Das zeitliche Zusammentreffen der beiden Ereignisse gibt nun auch Janet Jackson als Grund dafür an, warum auch sie beim Konzert in Wales nicht dabei sein wird: Eine Teilnahme zu diesem Zeitpunkt sei „zu schwer“ für sie, ließ die erfolgreichste der verbliebenen Jackson-Geschwister ausrichten.

Doch auch Fans sind von dem Unterfangen nicht überzeugt. In einem offenen Brief an den Veranstalter Global Live Events prophezeiten 35 Fanklubs, dass das Konzert „zum Scheitern verurteilt“ sei. Sie monierten etwa zu hohe Ticketpreise: Für den Eintritt ins 75.000 Menschen fassende Millennium Stadion werden 62 bis 270 Euro verlangt, dabei hätten Michael Jacksons eigene Konzerte, die er in London geben wollte (aber nicht mehr erlebte), nur 34 bis 90 Euro gekostet. Auch hier hat man offenbar aus der Erfahrung wenig gelernt: Auch in Rom hätte es, zum ersten Todestag 2010, ein Tribute-Konzert geben sollen, in diesem Fall zog Jackson-Bruder Marlon die Fäden. Weil viel zu wenige der teuren Karten verkauft wurden, musste es abgesagt werden.

Die Fans kritisieren aber auch Unklarheiten, welche Charitys vom Erlös profitieren würden, Sänger, die keine Auftrittsgarantien abgeben – und die Idee, Gene Simmons einzuladen: Unter den paar Künstlern, die der Veranstalter inzwischen bekannt gegeben hat, hatte sich auch die Band Kiss befunden. Deren Sänger Gene Simmons hatte Jackson mehrfach Kindesmissbrauch vorgeworfen. Nach Protesten von Fans wurden Kiss inzwischen ausgeladen.

Der Veranstalter ist nun verzweifelt um Deeskalation bemüht. Man nannte die Begünstigten (ein Aids-Projekt und ein Fonds für Michael Jacksons Kinder) und will heute sogar mit einem „Conference Call“ mit Fans den „außer Kontrolle geratenen Spekulationen“ begegnen. Immerhin, Sängerin Beyoncé, neben Christina Aguilera eine der Hauptattraktionen des Konzerts, hat ihren Auftritt trotz Schwangerschaft bestätigt. Wie geplant allerdings nur via Videozuschaltung.

Randy Jackson Visits Michael Jackson's Grave On The late King Of Pop's 53rd Birthday

Randy Jackson stopped by Forest Lawn in Los Angeles on Monday to pay his respects to the late King of Pop on what would have been the singer's 53rd birthday.

Jackson was swarmed by fans who were also at the cemetery to visit Michael Jackson's tomb, while the rest of the Jackson family was celebrating the milestone in Gary, Ind. at the famous family's original house.

The home has since been remodeled and turned into a museum, and the singer's kids, Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9, showed up to greet the hundreds of fans who gathered to pay their respects and take part in activities at the late pop star's boyhood home.

Meanwhile Jermaine Jackson stayed in town to treat his sons Jaafar and Jermajesty to a movie near their Calabasas, Calif. estate.

Jackson-Kids: Sonderbares Amulett



Sie tragen es seit dem Tod ihres Vaters
Sie tragen ihren Vater Michael Jackson täglich bei sich. Im Juli 2009 starb der King of Pop völlig überraschend und hinterließ seine drei Kinder Prince Michael (heute 14), Paris (13) und Blanket (9).

Am offenen Sarg hatte Paris ihrem Vater damals ein Amulett um das Handgelenk gebunden. Seitdem tragen die drei Kinder genau dieses Amulett um ihren Hals. Tag und Nacht. Mal sichtbar über der Kleidung, mal versteckt darunter. Somit sind sie mit ihrem Vater verbunden, auch nach dem Tod.

Groß geworden, Paris, Michael und Blanket!



Jackos Kinder sind erfreulich normal geblieben
Millionen Michael Jackson-Fans feiern weltweit den Geburtstag des 'King of Pop'. 53 Jahre wäre Jackson am 29. August geworden. Besonders seine Kinder gedachten ihres 2009 gestorbenen Vaters. Sie besuchten das Haus in Gary, Indiana, in dem Michael als Kind lebte, bevor die Familie nach Kalifornien zog. Offenbar hatten seine Kinder das Bedürfnis, die Wurzeln ihres Vaters besser kennenzulernen.

Vor allem Prince Michael (14) und Paris (13) sind deutlich im Teenageralter angekommen. Während Prince Michael vor den Kameras noch etwas schüchtern wirkt, hat sich seine Schwester offenbar zu einem selbstbewussten Mädchen entwickelt. Der kleine Blanket (9) mit seinen langen, dunklen Haaren ist dem 'King of Pop' wie aus dem Gesicht geschnitten.

In welcher Erinnerung der Vater Michael seinen Kindern bleibt, macht Paris mit den Worten deutlich: „Er war einer der tollsten und nettesten Menschen überhaupt.“ Michael Jackson wäre bestimmt sehr stolz auf seine Kinder.

Na mit den Amulett stimmt denke ich nicht so, das haben sie erst seit paar Monaten um , gleube seit sie zur Schuaspielschule gehn.
Und es haben nur die 2.Großen um Blanket nicht.

Und Randy ist woll der einzige der zum Grab immer geht, war doch vorriges Jahr auch so???

Michael Jackson: Neuer Film über sein Leben

Ein neuer Film über Michael Jackson soll die verschiedenen Facetten seiner Persönlichkeit zeigen und wie es seiner Familie 2005 erging, während der Star wegen des Verdachts des Kindesmissbrauchs vor Gericht stand.

Der Streifen mit dem Titel 'Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon', wird unter der Regie von Andrew Eastel verwirklicht und von Jacksons engem Freund David Gest produziert. Dabei wird er Interviews mit 50 seiner engsten Freunde und Familienmitglieder umfassen und Hintergründe zum Gerichtsprozess aufdecken, mit dem der Sänger 2005 aufgrund den Kindesmissbrauchsvorwürfe konfrontiert wurde.

Neben einem seltenen Interview mit seiner ältesten Schwester Rebbie, in dem sie über Jacksons schwierige Beziehung zu seinem Vater Joe spricht, wird der Film auch einen Einblick in die frühen Jahre geben, die er mit den Jackson 5 verbrachte. Zudem erfährt der Zuschauer mehr über seine Karriere als Solo-Künstler, bis hin zu seinem plötzlichen Tod im Juni 2009, der durch eine Propofol-Vergiftung erfolgte.

Seine Mutter Katherine sagt über den Film: "'Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon' ist ein wahrhaft außergewöhnlicher Film, der den wahren Charakter, Esprit und die Empfindsamkeit meines Sohnes einfängt. Produzent David Gest nimmt dich mit auf eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt, die die Menschen zum Weinen bringen wird und ihnen auch zeigt, wer der Mensch hinter der Musik war und ist."

Gest berichtet dazu: "Ich habe versucht, Michael in einem wahrhaft einzigartigen Licht zu zeigen. Ich habe die vergangenen 15 Monate damit verbracht, um die Welt zu reisen und Menschen zu interviewen, die in seinem Leben am wichtigsten waren." Er sei der festen Überzeugung, dass der Film die Zuschauer gleichermaßen unterhalte und ihnen auch etwas beibringe und ihnen so zeige, wer der wahre Michael Jackson war. "Ich hoffe", so führt er aus, "dass dies ein überdauerndes Testament des Mitgefühls und der Liebe wird, die er für alle Menschen empfand. Er war ein sehr komplexes Individuum und dieser Film wird die verschiedenen Aspekte seiner Persönlichkeit widerspiegeln."

Michael Jackson doctor's defence 'gutted' by judge, say lawyers

Lawyers acting for Dr Conrad Murray have had their witness list cut to the bone in the runup to his trial in September






The judge in the upcoming trial of Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray has "gutted" the medic's defence, according to his lawyers, rejecting more than a dozen of their proposed witnesses. Judge Michael Pastor has barred "distracting" testimony about Jackson's financial affairs, personal life and aspects of his medical history, including representations by Jackson's longtime dermatologist, nanny and business manager.

Dr Conrad Murray is accused of involuntary manslaughter, with prosecutors asserting that the physician's insomnia treatments caused the singer's 2009 death. But Murray's lawyers have claimed that Jackson took his own life, calling it the "desperate act" of a "desperate man". They say the singer's debt, his addiction to painkillers and the pressure of his comeback shows all led to his demise.

While the trial isn't scheduled to begin until September, superior court judge Michael Pastor decimated the defence's witness list this week. "Discussions of these subject matters are sufficiently convoluted, distracting and detracting as to substantially outweigh any probative value whatsoever," Pastor said, according to the LA Times. He had previously barred Murray's lawyers from discussing Jackson's balance-book with the jury, calling it a "battle of accountants" that would turn the trial "into a salacious analysis of personal financial issues".

Rejected witnesses include: Arnold Klein, Jackson's dermatologist, who allegedly introduced the singer to the addictive painkiller Demerol. The defence claims Jackson was in withdrawal from the drug when he died; Susan Etok, a friend of Jackson's, who apparently told police that he had asked her for propofol and other drugs; Grace Rwaramba, Jackson's nanny until the spring of 2009, who told investigators that the singer had serious drug issues and once received a call from Jackson's children, who had found their father passed out on the floor; witnesses linked to a 2003 raid on Jackson's Neverland ranch, where defence lawyers claim propofol and Demerol were found.

Judge Pastor also banned any testimony linked to Jackson's 2005 child molestation trial, where he was acquitted on all charges. "That is no-go territory as far as this criminal trial," he said. Prosecutors hailed the decision. "The People are very concerned about this trial deteriorating into an attack on Michael Jackson," admitted deputy district attorney David Walgren.

Despite the negative rulings, Murray's lawyers said they planned to soldier on with their defence, using testimony from several approved nurses and doctors. "If we have to go to a tank battle with a switchblade, that is exactly what we'll do," Edward Chernoff said. If convicted, Murray faces up to four years in prison.

Cee Lo Green Sparks Rumours of Michael Forever Tribute Concert Cancellation



Passionate Michael Jackson fans may have finally had their prayers answered as Cee Lo Green, one of a range of acts confirmed to be playing the Michael Forever tribute concert, sparked rumours that the gig had been cancelled.

For the last six weeks the Michael Forever tribute concert has been at the forefront of the music news scene, as fans and family members feuded with under-fire promoters Global Live Events over the timing, line-up and charity donation scheme of the concert – as well as the scheduling of KISS, whose frontman Gene Simmons publicly called Jackson a child molester - despite the late singer being cleared of all charges by a jury in 2005.

Hundreds of official fan forums have begged for the cancellation and hundreds of you have written to Stereoboard calling for the gig to be called off. And now, despite desperate attempts by the organisers to make sure the gig goes ahead, it looks as though Cee Lo Green may have delivered the news you have all been waiting for.

“I just read the gig was cancelled,” Green said in an interview with Canada.com. “so I'm not sure. But I'm up for it - I already have my bags packed. It's honourable to be asked by the family and estate to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Michael Jackson.”

PENN HILLS, Pa. -- A funeral was held at a Penn Hills church for music industry executive Frank DiLeo, who managed Michael Jackson's career in the 1980s and returned as his manager in the late singer's final days.

DiLeo had complications following a recent heart surgery and died last week at 63, survived by his wife, Linda; children, Belinda and Dominic; and grandson, Frank.

Hundreds of people paid their respects Wednesday morning at St. Bartholomew Parish on Erhardt Drive.

DiLeo's cousin celebrated the funeral Mass and said the Pittsburgh native would be remembered for being bigger than life and a one-of-a-kind in the music business who was fair and kind to everyone.

DiLeo was originally from the Point Breeze neighborhood and graduated from Central Catholic High School. In addition to his business accomplishments, he played roles in several movies, including a gangster in "Goodfellas."

In the book "Moonwalk," Jackson credited DiLeo as one of the people "responsible for turning my dream for 'Thriller' into a reality."

Jackson wrote that DiLeo's "brilliant understanding of the recording industry proved invaluable," and he described how DiLeo decided to release "Beat It" as a single while "Billie Jean" was still the No. 1 song in the country.

"CBS screamed, 'You're crazy. This will kill Billie Jean,' " Jackson recalled. "But Frank told them not to worry, that both songs would be No. 1 and both would be in the Top 10 at the same time. They were."

In 1984, with the "Thriller" album soaring, Jackson recruited DiLeo to leave CBS subsidiary Epic Records and manage his career.

DiLeo executive-produced the "Moonwalker" movie, and he wrote and produced a series of Pepsi commercials for Jackson. He also managed two concert tours -- the Victory Tour, with other members of the Jackson family, and the Bad World Tour, which became the largest-grossing concert tour of all time.

After five years together, DiLeo and Jackson abruptly ended their business relationship without explanation. DiLeo went on to manage Taylor Dayne, Jodeci, Laura Branigan and Richie Sambora, and he worked with Prince on several projects.

In 2005, when Jackson went to trial on child molestation charges, DiLeo returned to his side. They remained in touch after Jackson's acquittal, and Jackson asked DiLeo to manage him again as he prepared for the This Is It tour in the summer of 2009. They were working together at the time of Jackson's death in June 2009.
