Are there actually English native speaker here on the forum?

Hi folks,
I just want to know if there are any English native speaker on the forum.
In my side I don't believe it. ;)

Sorry but I can't fight that feeling that we opened just another troll playground. :D

My other thought: How can we practice English language if we mostly make the same mistakes in grammar and such things?
Of course I love the English Allmystery but... the question is up there.

"Zynischelynne" is from New York state, USA. Furthermore, writing, using English, will always improve your English. No matter if you talk to a native speaker and in case you really want to improve something. If there are doubts concerning grammar and so on, Google is able to dispel them.

If you want to talk to natives only, which nevertheless is more effective to practice English, register for a English speaking forum. Maybe a US forum like I did...

Already I did that. It's really fun. Very interesting too because you learn everytime something new about people, language, cultures, opinions, life and also slang.

We can still help each other. Someone could open up a thread, where to we copy quotes from the English part of the forum in which we found mistakes, and there we could correct it or ask.

Indeed, I am from New York. ^^ I came here because a friend on here invited me. I hope to learn German someday.




Google...don't even get me started on google. In grade school, I took Spanish for 6 years. It was the only language they offered. Well, I learned that translators really suck. I would type something in Spanish on the translator, and the English output was incorrect dozens of times. It also doesn't make a note of the context of certain words and phrases. So, if you do use google, do not use google translator. :D Do your research on google, or better yet, ask a native speaker. :)

I am new here, and by chance I stumbled over this thread. I am a (near) native speaker.

You can improve your English easily nowadays, u don’t need a native for this although It might be a good thing to have one.
