At the Mr. Pink Drink launch last night, Blanket looks none too pleased to be there. I watched the video of the red carpet event, and wondered who was the chick holding Blanket's hand? Then, I get this comment on another blog:

"The owner of this Mr Pink drink is a Chinese billionaire who paid big money to get Michael's kids and all the other stars there. He and his Romanian girlfriend, Monica Gabor, a former prostitute, have no morals and would do anything to get a bit of publicity in Hollywood. At the event, Mrs Gabor appeared in all the pictures holding Blanket's hand, she would do anything for two minutes of fame! It is so sad that Michael's kids are involved in this!" ~ Anonymous

So I start looking into it. Here's what I could find in a LIMITED amount of time and research:

This is Monica Gabor, formerly Monica Columbeanu. She is in her early twenties but was married to a Romanian businessman Irinel Columbeanu, 30 years her senior. She began as a model in Romania. She and her husband had a reality show in Romania, and apparently it was very popular. She has now divorced her husband, and apparently is in a relationship with the Chinese owner of Mr. Pink Drinks.

Monica Gabor seems to truly be in a relationship with the elusive Mr. Pink (I could not find his name on any of the articles I read, however, they all had to be translated, so I could have missed it.) She does seem to have a sex tape out, but I refuse to click on it so take that info with a grain of salt. It also appears as if Gabor was a prostitute as a minor, but it could have been a forced situation. Translations of articles were unclear. However, here are some of the modeling pictures I found of Gabor:

The last picture I shopped out the obvious. You can see the picture full picture here. This is just my own opinion (because it is after all, my blog) that a minor child aged 10 years old, has no business holding hands with this woman. Like his father before him, everyone now wants a piece of fame by associating themselves and being photographed with Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson.

Paris strahlte wie ein Profi und sah einfach viel erwachsener als sonst und vor allem hinreißend aus. "Immortal"-Premiere: Jacko-Show ohne Jacko

Am Freitagabend feierte die "Immortal World Tour" in der Londoner O2-Arena die Europapremiere, dort wo der "King of Pop" seine letzten 50 Konzerte geben wollte. Am 1. und 2. Dezember wird die Show in Wien gastieren.

Legendäre Tanzschritte, der berühmte weiße Glitzerhandschuh, Hits wie "Bad" und "Thriller", dazu jede Menge Trockennebel, leuchtende Kostüme, riesige Videowalls, fliegende Akrobaten, eine (echte) Band und sogar ein (unechter) Affe: Viel Zirkus um Michael Jackson macht der Cirque du Soleil mit seiner "Immortal World Tour".

"Immortal" beruht auf den Videos, Konzertelementen und ein bisschen auf der Biografie des 2009 verstorbenen Sängers. 50 Tänzer, Musiker und Artisten wirken mit, ein gigantischer LED-Bildschirm hebt und senkt sich und kippt bei Bedarf, ein Steg führt ins Publikum, die Gesamtprojektionsfläche des Spektakels beträgt 500 Quadratmeter.

Superlativen
Die Veranstalter geizen nicht mit Superlativen: 1.500 Kostümstücke werden in 107 großen Kisten angekarrt, die schwerste Requisite, ein futuristische "Tanzmaschine", wiegt 600 Kilo, eine übergroße Nachbildung von Jacksons Schuh ist 2,40 Meter hoch und - man staune - "aus orthopädischem Schaum". Das gute Stücke wird live von Tänzern im Rhythmus bewegt.

"Die Herausforderung bestand darin, die Essenz aus Cirque du Soleil und Michael Jackson zusammenzuführen und etwas Eigenes daraus zu machen, das beiden gerecht wird", betonte der Choreograf Travis Payne, der 15 Jahre mit dem Popstar zusammengearbeitet hat. "Es ist kein Jackson-Konzert, weil er ja leider nicht dabei ist, zugleich repräsentiert ihn die Show perfekt."

Die künstlerische Direktorin Tara Young ergänzte: "'Immortal' führt durch die Welt von Jackson. Seine Stimme ist ständig präsent. Man hört ihn aber nicht nur, wir haben auch großartiges und zum Teil bisher ungesehenes Videomaterial."

Opulenz und Verklärung
"Immortal" ist manchmal sehr spektakulär, wenn etwa eine Seilartistin zu "Dangerous" in luftiger Höhe tollkühne Verrenkungen macht oder ein Großensemble in raffinierten Outfits zu "Billie Jean" im Gleichschritt die noch immer unerreichten Bewegungen Jacksons imitiert. Und manchmal sehr verklärt, wenn Jackson als Retter der Welt fast heiliggesprochen wird ("Will You Be There"). Stellenweise lässt die Opulenz (Farbenmeere, Pyroeffekte, quer durch den Saal schwebende Protagonisten) staunen, mehrmals erschlagen sich Videozuspielungen und Akrobatikeinlagen gegenseitig.

"Immortal" ist besser als so manches Popbandmusical, Popcornunterhaltung, kurzweilig, für Fans, zugleich kaum revolutionär. Wenn das Gezeigte nicht gerade ins Esoterische abdriftet, haben die Kreativen aus der Situation, eine Jackson-Show ohne Jackson inszenieren zu wollen, einiges herausgeholt.

Am 1. und 2. Dezember gastiert das Spektakel in der Wiener Stadthalle.

U2 were among the stars who turned out to the opening night of Cirque Du Soleil's 'Michael Jackson - The Immortal World Tour' at London's O2 last night.

The Irish rockers (Bono, Adam Clayton and The Edge) mingles with cast members from the show along with the likes of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman and, err, Celebrity Big Brother winner and Loose Women star, Denise Welch.

The show mixes the music of Michael Jackson with the 'whimsy and fun and acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil' according to the show's choreographer, Travis Payne.

"I think it's a perfect collaboration and I'm really proud of the show," says Payne, as reported by The Telegraph, before revealing that MJ himself was a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil.

"You know he's always loved Cirque and he'd been trying to find an opportunity to work with them, so that's why this is even more special because we know this is something that he wanted," he added. "Of course it's in a totally different way, but I think that the union got to happen."

NEW YORK - Michael Jackson was the ultimate entertainer, who oversaw all the details of his shows, from the slick choreography to the rhinestones and pearls carefully hand sewn onto his elaborate costumes, his longtime costume designer says.

As much as music and dance characterized the pop superstar, the late Jackson was also known for his style, from military outfits and regalia, to jewel-encrusted gloves, fedora hats and intricately beaded jackets.

In a new book, "The King of Style: Dressing Michael Jackson," Michael Bush, the man who designed and made Jackson's stage costumes for 25 years until the pop star's death in 2009, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar and the development of his signature style.

"The clothes had to work around the way he was performing," Bush told Reuters in a telephone interview. "He wanted his outfits, or his costumes, to be as entertaining on a hanger as they were on him. It was an added layer of refinement and detail that he was projecting to his audience."

Everything Jackson wore had a focus and was an extension of what he was doing on stage, with dance playing a pivotal role in the designs. He favored rhinestones and beading because they reflected the stage lighting.

Function, fitness and comfort were essential, with neckties and fringes forbidden because they could be grabbed by fans.

"It was very contrived. It was very thought out," said Bush, adding that as the stadiums got bigger, Jackson's pants got shorter and shorter, the better to see his rhinestone socks.

"Michael was concerned that the people in the back row paid just as much to see him perform as the people in the front, so no one got cheated out of the entertainment he was projecting, because everyone could see what he was doing," Bush said.

Each of the 800 to 900 costumes Bush and his partner Dennis Tompkins, who died last year, made for Jackson were over-the-top, skin tight, flashy pop-star creations. Many are shown in detailed photographs in the book, along with sketches and performance photos.

Still, away from the spotlight, Jackson preferred more casual, loose-fitting corduroy shirts, black cotton pants with front pleats, and loafers.

And despite all his fame and wealth, and gifts of expensive designer shoes, Jackson always performed in Florsheim shoes, which can be purchased in most U.S. malls.

"He taught himself to dance in Florsheims. They were comfortable and were what he had worn as a child star," Bush explained in the book, to be published Oct. 23.

Jackson's style evolved from his military outfits, featuring taut lines and embellishments and designed with his female audience in mind. These were followed by a more rebellious, edgy look with leather jackets, including one with small spoons and forks dangling, like military medals, across the front.

"The first layer was the jacket, then we put the zipper underneath that and the buckles from the "Bad" album look, and then we asked: 'How can we make this larger than life on stage?'"

Strobe lights and electric jackets were the next step. Each album had its own look, which evolved from the look preceding it.

Perhaps Bush and Tompkins's greatest achievement was Jackson's "lean shoes," which were eventually patented. He first performed his "lean move," leaning forward at a 45-degree angle in the short film "Smooth Criminal" in 1987, thanks to behind-the-scenes magic.

Bush and Tompkins were tasked with developing shoes that would allow Jackson to perform the move before a live audience, without falling over. It took Tompkins a month but he devised shoes that bolted to the floor and worked perfectly on stage.

Although Jackson claimed not to have a favorite costume, Bush said the one the pop star liked the most, and in which he was laid to rest, was the pearl and bead encrusted white military jacket that he wore when his sister Janet handed him a Grammy award in 1993.

There wasn't time to track down the original jacket when the Jackson family contacted Bush and Tompkins and asked them to choose his final outfit, so they made a copy.

"Michael was a man of many paradoxes, most of which we were able to represent in the clothes we designed: Rigid military cuts that were also elastic and moveable; rebellious regalia, fit for army commanders, worn over the heart of a gentle man; bedazzled embellishments adorning a man blessed with a quiet humility; one of a kind, handcrafted clothes worn with aged, scuffed Florsheim shoes," Bush said in the book.

Jackson, 50, died in Los Angeles in June 2009 from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol, which he was taking to help him sleep. His personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is serving a four-year prison term for involuntary manslaughter. — Reuters

hahaha, aber niedlich, lt. Michael Bush´s Buch war es Michaels Art, hangefertigte Kleidung zu tragen mit abgewetzten Florsheim-Schuhen, die es überall in den Einkaufszentren zu kaufen gibt.
Was ich natürlich etwas anstößig finde, daß es auch die Kleidung zu sehen gibt, in der Michael dann in den Sarg verfrachtet wurde. Der ganze Anzug ist zu sehen.


Also ist "Immortal" jetzt im guten alten Europa angekommen und es freut mich, daß viele bekannte Künstler Michael die Ehre erweisen.

Keiner weiß, wer hinter Mr.StinkPink steckt. Energy-Drink, hmmm, da fällt mir doch ein, der Wiesner wollte doch auch einen Energy-Drink auf den Markt bringen. Wer kann meinen Gedanken folgen?

ach, das finde ich nicht so schlimm ... er zeigt doch nur die Bekleidung, mit der MJ zur letzten Ruhe gelegt worden ist ... er wird doch wohl kein Bild verwendet haben, mit dem dann bekleideten

es wäre auch zu schön gewesen, um wahr zu sein, als dass sich doch für Murrays Buch ein Verleger finden würde ... nur man hat sich gewünscht, dass es keinen zu geben scheint, der diesen Müll unterstützt ... :( und ob es dann wirklich ein Erfolgsbuch wird ????

MICHAEL Jackson’s family is in uproar over a book about the star being ­written by Conrad Murray, the ­doctor jailed for giving him a fatal overdose.

Murray, 56, has served less than a year of his ­four-year sentence for ­involuntary manslaughter.

But he has been “reaching out” to publishers from his ­isolation cell at LA County Jail through girlfriend Nicole Alvarez.

He says his memoir will reveal “what really ­happened” during ­Jackson’s final days and claims the singer “confided his innermost feelings about his ­children, family and 2005 child molestation trial”.

Last night a New York publishing source insisted: “There would definitely be a market for his book but whoever touches it will be severely tainted.

“Any profit Murray makes will be seen as pure blood money.”

A friend of Jackson’s 82-year-old mum ­Katherine said: “How dare he do this? He is the man whose blunders put Michael in an early grave.

“The entire family is ­furious that he would even consider such a thing.

“Murray has never shown a shred of remorse.

“Now he is cashing in on the grief all of us, ­especially Michael’s children, are still feeling.”

ja, möglich ist vieles ... man kann ja auch als stiller Teilhaber in Unternehmen stecken ... und Strohmänner scheint es doch auch genug zu geben, für Geld wird oft das Unmögliche möglich ... hahaha
