"On June 19, 1998, KTVK's evening news aired a segment of an interview that PAUL HUEBL, a Phoenix journalist and private investigator, has made with a jury member of Debra Milke's trial, DeANNA KRUPP. MRS. KRUPP confirmed that the tape played in the jury room was instrumental to serve as character denunciation of Debra Milke.
During the work on the website version of the interview with Armando Saldate we considered the time-frame and found it to be an interesting fact that this taped interview of SANDRA PICKINPAUGH took place only four days after SALDATE was questioned by Debbie's defense attorney. SALDATE had made the appointment to visit MS. PICKINPAUGH only one day earlier. In a telephone interview with Debra's attorney Anders V. Rosenquist MS. PICKINPAUGH remembered: "... I remember Saldate telling me on the phone the very last time, he had just, he called and told me he had his reservations and he was coming up the next day. And, I told him that it was really inconvenient for me and he said, well, either you do it now or you get subpoenaed and you're going to have to deliver your baby early."
