After Michael Jackson's death, fans across the world mourned the loss of the "King of Pop" -- and then started asking questions about the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.
Now that we are in the second week of the involuntary manslaughter trial People v. Conrad Murray, a clearer picture is emerging about the pop star's final weeks, as well as the doctor charged with causing his death.
The Prosecution and the Defense (along with the court of public opinion) have drawn witnesses and evidence to make a myriad of arguments. But, we are the first to admit that it's hard to keep track of who is who and why they are a part of the trial.
For the sake of clarification moving forward (experts expect the trial to run roughly 6 weeks), The Huffington Post presents a slideshow of the Courthouse Characters -- and why they matter:
