1.) Yes, I understand that Twilight could use her magic to grab the hat. I imagine this is the moment where she realizes Applejack went back to grab it, and hasn't had but a millisecond to react yet.

2.) I also understand Applejack doesn't have fingers, so can't grab it. She could, however, put her hoof down on it if she reached far enough, and slid it back. Ponies have done crazier things in the show. Like pick their noses. Or sneeze confetti. Which leads me to:

3.) Stop taking the fun out of stuff.

I found it funny that I was doing an Applejack piece, because I have other favorite ponies, but when I saw her sneak her hat on at the Royal Wedding, she kinda won me over.

Her little sneak attack got me thinking to how much she loves her hat, and reminded me of someone else who also loves his hat.

Indiana Jones.
