"I just got this reply from Yellowstone National Park about the quake. I really don't like this snideness in the last remark. We really need to get some Yellowstone witnesses to these quakes. I would suggest everyone that has a Twitter account start sleuthing for eyewitnesses.

"A few things to keep in mind. 1) Every earthquake that logs electronically eventually gets reviewed by a seismologist. If you click on each listed earthquake for details - it will be noted if it has been reviewed.
2) If you sign up for notifications, the USGS usually sends out a delete notice if and when they delete something.
3) in general - all over the US - some "not really quakes" get deleted can be due to mechanical issues, servicing to the devise, weather, drilling, propane explosions, and many more factors. 'Data' check info is explained at this link [link to www.facebook.com]
4) I'm sure that the 100+ people on this page that LIVE in and next to the park will share details with us when a "big enough to be felt" one happens"
wenn ihr in der Suchfunktion Yellowstone eingibt, kommen jede Menge Info´s etc.
