Well, first of all it just struck me as random shipping out of nowhere in a generally non-shipfic, and it didn't really add anything to the plot. Also, I'm opposed in principle to dumbing oneself down. Plus, interspecies fucking is how they get mules and hinnies, so I don't really think it's creepy in any way.

It doesn't bother me too much. The ship stuff happens at the end only anyway. And Discord dumbed himself down so that time passes by for him faster.

That was the stated reason, yes. It's a poorly thought-out reason in my opinion. It would be more reasonable for him to WANT time to pass by slowly - that way, his time with Fluttershy would seem longer than it really is.

Yeah. Besides, he could easily make Fluttershy immortal too. But no fanfic is flawless and the primary purpose of these is to entertain. :vv:
