26.11.2014 um 02:06Die Organisation der Vereinten Nationen ist laut dem UN-Hochkommissar für Menschenrechte Seid al-Hussein besorgt über den Tod vieler junger Afroamerikaner bei den Zusammenstößen mit der Polizei in den USA. Die Zahl der Todesopfer bezeichnete Seid al-Hussein als unverhältnismäßig hoch.
Ein Geschworenengericht in der US-Kleinstadt Ferguson hatte am Montag den Polizisten Darren Wilson, der den unbewaffneten Teenager Michael Brown erschossen hatte, freigesprochen. Nach der Verkündung des Urteils kam es zu gewaltsamen Protesten und schweren Zusammenstößen der Demonstranten mit Ordnungskräften.
