ok, dann lag ich ja nicht so falsch...

auch wenn es @KillingTime vielleicht nicht nachvollziehen kann, dass es deinen Eltern nicht so wichtig ist, die Texte zu verstehen, kann ich es durchaus nachvollziehen
meine Mutter steht auf spanische Musik und es ist ihr egal, was gesungen wird, da sie kein Spanisch spricht

In manchen Liedern schwingt eine gewisse "Sehnsucht" mit, nach irgendwas. Oder sie drücken etwas aus, was man ist oder nicht ist. Das führt dazu, dass man sich mit dem Song identifiziert, finde ich. Vielleicht jetzt nicht gerade dieser spezifische, aber generell schon?

das hast du gut formuliert... nicht dieser Song speziell.. aber Lieder im Allgemeinen können schon sehr gut ausdrücken bzw rüber bringen, was man selbst manchmal fühlt oder denkt, ohne dass man das selbst so gut in Worte kleiden könnte...

und ja, die Sehnsucht schwingt oft mit... und man weiß manchmal selbst nicht genau, wonach man sich eigentlich sehnt.

Was anderes habe ich auch nicht erwartet. Die Umfrage spricht eine deutliche Sprache.

es gibt manche Lieder ,da ist der Text so unerträglich schmalzig, das kann man sich echt nicht anhören ..

finde den Text enorm wichtig ... gut, es gibt Gruppen, da kann man das eher verzeihen - aber irgendwo ist dann einfach Ende :D

man muss bei manchen liedern ja mitgröhlen können :D

mit text ist es meistens schon besser.

Texte, sofern vorhanden, sind wichtig, wichtiger als die Musik, denn man hört den text ja trotzdem. Wenn also eine wunderbare Musik begleitet wird von einem saublöden Text, dann ist das ekelhaft....da kann man dann nur hoffen, dass es das Stück auch instrumental gibt oder der text in einer Sprache ist, die man nicht versteht. Aber es ist ja nicht nur der Text, der ist manchmal super, die Melodie ist super und die Stimme scheisse....also entweder es passt alles zusammen oder lieber ohne Text, bzw. dann nur die Lyrics lesen

ich höre Beides, mit und ohne Text/Gesang

es gibt viele wunderschöne Texte, wie Gedichte, tiefsinnig, der gemeine Mitsinger ist sich dessen dann oft gar nicht bewusst

Text sollte schon verstanden werden. Oder zumindest dank übersetzung bekannt sein.

Wer das Lied spielt ist mir egal. Solange der Text brauchbar ist und die Melodie stimmt hör ich es. So habe ich von Mozart, 50Cent über Die Ärzte, Dj Antoine oder Kay One bis hin zu Justin Bieber alles mögliche auf dem Player. Selbst ein Lied einer inoffiziellen naziband habe ich drauf.
