Spitfire is obvious, needless to say more. I think Rainbow Dash would be a more "recent" jet fighter because she's capable of supersonic flight.

I'm thinking maybe instead of a Harrier, Lightning Dust would be an F-15, since she really pushes the limits of air superiority. Then Rainbow Dash would be a Mig-29, since she can rival Lightning Dust but is just a little bit behind when it comes to maximum performance. Unlike an F-15, though, a Mig-29 is designed to be a multirole fighter, and Rainbow is also good at other things besides just racing. Plus, the Mig is a Soviet plane, and Rainbow put aside her own glory to help Ponyville win more medals in the Equestria Games - that's at least a little bit Communist. XD

Pinkie Pie - the M2 Bradley. Fast and doesn't look heavily armed if you're only judging by gun size, but when push comes to shove it's packing missiles and a squad of infantry inside.
