Tell me why we would be. We are part of the ecosystem "Earth" by being one of the species residing in it. We have no full control over it, so we are not "in charge" of it.

AN fängt halt immer damit an und ich hab jetzt kein Problem damit, mich dem zu "fügen" und eben mit ihm auf Englisch zu argumentieren, ist sowieso einfacher :D

Granted, you're right on this one. We cannot yet control natural forces like the weather or earthquakes. But sooner or later, we will be.

Also, we cannot do as we please on this planet either, we are dependant on various things to remain intact. One example being species, like for example bees, who's extinction would take us down with them.

You may argue that we will one day be able to live completely autonomous, without the need for any other species, and may be able to simply fly to another planet capable of sustaining us. Gladly, I won't be alive to see that.

I'm curious, yes, but I can't really imagine a life only with the human species to be enjoyable :P:
