Bewohner rannten in Panik zu höher gelegenen Gebieten - Mehrere Nachbeben

Ein kräftiges Erdbeben der Stärke 7,5 hat am Dienstag die Bewohner des pazifischen Inselstaats Vanuatu in Angst vor einen Tsunami versetzt. Nach Angaben des Pazifischen Tsunami-Warnzentrums war die von dem Erdstoß verursachte Welle, die in der Hauptstadt Port Vila beobachtet wurde, aber nur 22 Zentimeter hoch.

Viele Menschen rannten in Panik zu höher gelegenen Gebieten, um sich vor der befürchteten Flutwelle in Sicherheit zu bringen. Berichte über Schwerverletzte oder größere Schäden gab es laut Polizei zunächst keine. Das Erdbeben ereignete sich rund 40 Kilometer nordwestlich von Port Vila in einer Tiefe von 35 Kilometern.

u.a. nach meinen Recherchen in wissenschaftlichen Kreisen und meinen Beziehungen bie NASA usw. habe scherzenshalber mit einer Gruppe von Leuten in einer Kneipe auf Mallorca (Einheimischen) 30 Kästen Bier gewettet, das Florida zu Jahresende nicht mehr existiert bzw. nicht bewohnbar ist. Bin gespannt... :-) In den letzten Jahren habe ich fast alle Wetten gewonnen, die diese u.a. Themen hatten.
