Marz, a pseudonym for founder, Lead Vocalist, and Producer Marvin Ennis, was first signed with Capitol/EMI/Liberty Records for the debut recording "Make it Right." The group was active from the mid 80s and has gained a cult following around the globe ever since. There are various releases with Producer Lionel Job (Keith Sweat, Starpoint, Joe Public, Tyrese) and Co- Producer/Hit Songwriter/Arranger/Lead Singer/Keyboardist Marvin Ennis. Although group went on to record the cult dance classic "Boyfriend Now" on Prism Records [Biz Markie], and , ultimately, signed with Manhattan Records under Jerry Griffith, the group never gained chart popularity.
