My or A worldview :

Diseases

Who says there will always be new diseases? Perhaps the old diseases will simply return, and SARS 1 and 2 were nothing compared to that...
For example, sexually transmitted diseases are experiencing a sharp increase...

Increase in gonorrhea, syphilis, and clap. (Text is in German)
According to a WHO report, there are 376 million new infections with the sexually transmitted diseases syphilis, chlamydia, gonococcus aureus, and trichomonas every year.
This represents an increase of five percent compared to 2012. One in four people is now infected with one of these four diseases.
Chlamydia is most prevalent in the WHO European Region.

Logically, one can therefore assume that the effectiveness of penicillin (mainly) is diminishing.
Therefore, one can also conclude that the plague will soon strike again, more vigorously than before!

The "Black Death" has never claimed so many victims in Madagascar. It was bound to happen at some point.

USA and the plague:

Plague in the USA, 2015
The patients came from Arizona (2), California (1), Colorado (4), Georgia (1), New Mexico (2), and Oregon (1). Two of the eleven patients were likely infected while visiting Yosemite National Park in the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains, according to Natalie Kwit of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Like the other patients, they were likely bitten by a flea infected with Y. pestis.

Something else that's accumulating is, for example, skin cancer... although that has more to do with the ozone layer: the number of skin cancer patients is multiplying, but that won't become an epidemic, let alone a pandemic!
Skin cancer definition + frequency
How common is skin cancer in Germany? The incidence of skin cancer has been rising steadily for several decades. The highest growth rates worldwide are observed in Australia and New Zealand, where 50 to 60 new cases of malignant melanoma occur per 100,000 inhabitants per year. [1] In Germany, the incidence of new cases of melanoma increased fivefold between 1970 and 2015. A significant increase in cases has been observed since 2008. This is partly due to the introduction of skin cancer screening in Germany in that year. [/ quote]Source:.krebsgesellschaft.de/onko-internetportal/basis-informationen-krebs/krebsarten

In any case, all of these diseases lead to (more or less) population reductions and are difficult to reverse.
But there is also hope: the ozone holes are shrinking somewhat again, which leads to lower radiation – so reducing chlorofluorocarbons is also working!

In the USA, microbiologists are searching for bacteriophages; in other countries, they have long been used!
Bacteriophages that can also eat Yersinia pestis, for example!

Conclusion: we are once again overcoming diseases, just as they first threatened to overwhelm us!!!
And we've learned what society as a whole should do during pandemics, namely: social distancing + hand sanitizing + wearing a face mask!!!
